Call For Proposals: Graduate Student Exchange Program

Accepting Applications | 2026-27 Academic Year

The Global Past Research Initiative (GPRI) seeks Humanities PhD students at the University of Toronto and graduate students associated with the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, the American University in Cairo, and other universities in Cairo and India to participate in an exchange program at one of the GPRI’s partner institutions. The exchange program seeks to facilitate research on specific materials and/or mentoring with specific faculty members. Five fellowships valued at $6,000 (Canadian) will be awarded to support exchanges of three to six weeks.
